Title of the Talk/Lab :How to Approach Cell Cycle and Apoptosis Experiments?

Rajendra Kumar received his Ph.D. degree from the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), India. Currently, he is a senior postdoctoral fellow at Oncology, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Kumar recently received several early career research awards, including the Prostate Cancer Foundation Young Investigator award (2021) and the DoD Early Investigator Award for prostate cancer (2021). He has extensive expertise in designing cellular and molecular assays, including cutting edge microscopic techniques such as super-resolution and live-cell confocal imaging and flow cytometry to analyze cell proliferation, death, and DNA cell cycle. Also, in the past, he had attended quite a few Indo-US Flowcytometry Workshop along with The Cytometry Society organized Flowcytometry Workshops as an associate faculty.

Tutorial: How to Approach Cell Cycle and Apoptosis Experiments?: Dr. Kumar will share his experience with various assays related to cell death and DNA cell cycle analysis, especially on sample preparation, sample acquisition, and data analysis.
